I love Ramadan because it’ allows us to get closer with God. And focus on the important things in life . Such as prayer and helping others in need. ♥️

Hi! My name is Maddie and this year was my first Ramadan. This blessed time has been one of the most wholesome and humbling experiences I’ve ever had. This Ramadan has not only given me the opportunity to practice my prayers and get closer to God but it has strengthened all my relationships and my sense of empathy. Throughout this year a lot of my friends have been teaching me the ways of Islam and for the first time I feel a true connection with God. In order for me to succeed and have guidance throughout Ramadan, a group of my friends would meet with me once a week for Iftar. Fasting together, breaking fast together and praying together has made me feel so warm inside and has definitely brought us closer together. It has been so nice going through this journey with them as we are all growing from it! In addition to this, adjusting to the fasting was challenging but came to be the most rewarding. On some days while the weather was hot and our throats were dry, or those 6am mornings when all I wanted was to reach for a cup of coffee, I really came to appreciate the things I have in my life. This also gave me empathy for those who do not have access to food and water like we do in Canada. This has inspired me to do good and give back more to those who have less than I do. Overall, ramadan has been such a positive experience for me and there are so many things I have loved about it! Ramadan mubarak!

I love Ramaddan because I’m a new convert. I’m learning all kinds of new things. Ramaddan brings me into focus on what I need to work on to be a better person all year round. For me it’s backfiring. I’m focusing on improving that and I hope by the time the month is over a new habit will have been formed

I love Ramadan because a person who never prays, prays. Because a girl who is not veiled, is veiled. This guy who never fasting, fasting. Even if it’s for 1 month, everyone can taste this sweetness of faith. Once they have tasted it, they will take a liking to religion in sha’Allah. They call them “Muslim only during Ramadan” but I call them Muslims who need Ramadan to change. ❤❤

I love Ramadan because it’s the month of improvement whether that’s to your soul, religion or temperament. It is the one time of year that we Muslims as a whole truly act like an ummah. To me it brings a sense of peace, I am in awe of the creator and of His creation and during Ramadan I can truly see that there more than a billion other Muslims in that same state of mind.

This is the month where we give back and so many give generously. We pay Zakat and give donations to charities to help feed, clothe, provide shelter and education to the poor, the less fortunate and needy all around the world. It also encourages you to be more be more helpful, tolerant and kind to people around you too. The hunger and thirst you feel makes you think about the millions of people who go without food and water. It makes you thankful for what you have and less prone to complain about what you don’t have.
This month allows us to reconnect with God by praying the five daily prayers, Teraweeh, reading the Quran and just refreshing your memory of our beautiful religion through books and articles. Ramadan gives you the opportunity to reflect on the past year and look toward making a more positive and productive future. It’s a month to improve yourself as a person , get rid of bad habits and adopt better ones.
    That’s why I love Ramadan.

Ramadan is such a blessing month. Ramadan is a month of forgiveness and being forgiven. It allows us to see why our lives have meaning. During this month people’s true colors show and it’s amazing to see how caring and beautiful peoples souls are. This month is my favorite because we get to help people in need and it makes you feel so happy when you see that smile on their face.

Why I love ramadan. I love ramadan so much because i get a chance to get closer with allah SWT and also because I feel so religious and happy. I get to experience how people feel without food and showing my friends that this is who we aren’t and sometimes they say how are you doing this well god is helping me. Also the food that my mom makes is sooo good!

I love Ramadan because it is different from other months. Also, it is amazing because of eating with the whole family every day and enjoy with them. The amazing part is all the family will wake up for Sahour and every one will pray alfajar together, so it lets us to be more closer to Allah. It is the month of Alrahma w alghoufran. It lets us be together, so if there is any brawl in the family. Every one will reconcile. Also, the food is different and more delicious than other days. The important thing is after Ramadan with 30 days fasting will come Eid, this an amazing part because everyone will be happy, they’re with their family. I wish a blessed Ramadan for everyone who celebrate it. Happy Ramadan!!! Thank you!

  • Aasiya: May 25, 2018

I love Ramadan because not only is it a chance for us to prove we can be better Muslims, but it is also when the entire Muslim community comes together for the same cause! May Allah SWT allow us to make the most of this month!

It’s a month to improve yourself as a person, get rid of bad habits and adopt better ones. You’ll think twice before swearing, being rude, speaking ill of someone and getting angry. People may think that we must get so cranky from not eating or drinking all day, but for the majority of Muslims it’s the total opposite; you feel a lot calmer and at peace.

I love Ramadan, there are lot of hadiths about Ramadan & its blessings that will make us more eager to enjoy the exceptionally spritual, soul nourishing experience of Ramadan..
Every action a son of Adam does will be multiplied. a good action by 10 times its value up to 700times..
May Allah guide us, n shower his abundant blessing on us, and help us to continue with the good deeds throughout the remaining month…
