Stretch Georgette Wraps: FAQs
Posted on 22 September 2016
Q. What do you mean by stretch?
A. The fabric consists of 95% polyester and 5% lycra. This combination gives these hijabs a unique stretchy feel. A good comparison would be to lightly tug on a chiffon scarf, it should feel rather tight and shouldn't allow for much stretch. If you were to tug on the stretch georgette wrap, you would notice that it has the ability to stretch a considerable amount (check out our video demonstration of this on Instagram: @voilechic). We also like to think of it as a combination of a chiffon scarf (for the way it looks) and a jersey scarf (for the way it stretches). This means that you'll get both an elegant looking hijab, with ultimate comfort.
Q. What is the texture of the hijab like?
A. Another key feature is the texture of the hijab. It is slightly more rough in texture than the typical chiffon fabric. Because of this, the hijab will stay in place all day without shifting or slipping around.
Q. How many colours are available?
A. We always strive to include a wide range of colours in all of our hijabs. The new stretch georgette wraps come in ten colours: butter cream, stone, forest green, navy blue, black, charcoal grey, light grey, burgundy, and taupe.
Q. Do they wrinkle easily?
A. No, this new fabric barely wrinkles at all because of its stretchiness. It's a dream come true.
Q. How much are they?
A. The stretch georgette wraps retail for $15.00 USD. Be sure to use the tab near the top hand corner of the website to convert the pricing to your preferred currency.
